Teryn Attwell (she/her) is a learning designer, educator, and English language content creator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History, a Graduate Diploma of Education (EAL and humanities), and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Learning and Teaching. After a decade teaching English in secondary schools and language schools in Australia, England, Vietnam and Spain, Teryn embraced the idea of a career pivot in 2020 and began creating online learning content. In 2021, she moved from teaching to learning design at RMIT University Library. Integral to Teryn’s practice is an interest in authentic learning and assessment.

Contributors

Matthew Millis (he/him) reviewed pages in the Key Transferable Skills resource and also sourced and developed content for several higher order thinking pages. He is a Language Educator and Learning Designer who currently assists RMIT’s students in developing their academic skills and also develops learning materials. With a strong interest in inclusion and equity, he is dedicated to creating resources that provide learners with the tools needed for study success. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Languages), a Master of Translation Studies (Spanish to English), and a Graduate Diploma in Education.

Anagha Khedkar (she/her) reviewed pages in the Key Transferable Skills resource and evaluated OERs for inclusion in the Transferable skills resource collections. She is a Learning Designer. She has a background in customer service, content creation and workshop facilitation. Anagha holds a Master of Communication and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Learning and Teaching. Her time at RMIT in student-facing roles, specifically in the Careers and Employability space, has allowed her the opportunity to bring the insights from these experiences to developing student-centric content. Her interest lies in creating active learning for diverse audiences.

Meyrick Kaminski reviewed pages in the Key Transferable Skills resource and evaluated OERs for inclusion in the Transferable skills resource collections. He is a designer, artist and thinker. Having completed his Masters in Fine Art at the HBK in Germany, Kaminski has worked at the interface of creative practice, education, workshop facilitation and academic research in Australia, Germany, and throughout the Balkans. When not running and operating his own small design business, Kaminski’s primary research area is games, interactivity and non-linear narrative design.
